You can also try one of the sites that cater to "freelance" work (one that come to mind is hotgigs.com, there are more, just can't think of any other off the top of my head). These sights actually receive "requirements" from both vendors and end-client companies who are looking for freelance work. Sometimes it's 40 hours a week on site, sometimes it's for 40 hours per week off-site and sometimes it's for a partial week committment. You might be able to find requests for "long-term" committments, but for only 1-2 days worth of work per week. Or, you might find things for shorter terms (like a company who needs someone for only 2-3 weeks) and they might be open to breaking the work down into smaller parcels (like having someone work 4-5 hours perday and deliver the work in 3-4 weeks instead of 2-3 weeks) - if it was a "win-win". Something to look into.
